OMG I'm about to go full stan mode for this assignment I have in Fundamentals of Audio. I have to choose an important album and research its recording techniques, impact, chart history, and I have to write a paper on why it's an important album. OMG OMG OMG. I may sound delusional as everyone else picked The Dark Side of the Moon or Abbey Road etc.. but I'm about to show these hipsters why Taylor is the Queen of Pop and Music after I present it in two weeks. We also get to choose one song to play for the class. OOTW is my choice!

She continues to display artistry and passion despite going full pop, and it's not disposable like some pop tarts' alberms
Unique recording techniques (Wildest Dream's heartbeat, OOTW's whole recording process, the wodden boards they stomped on [saw it duing the BTS video on iTunes when 1989 was first put up for preorder], etc..)
It's bringing attention to alberm sales again, especially the physical format, helping the industry
This era she is speaking out against free/cheap streaming, could be a movement
Any more???? I'm so hyped right now.
It's gonna be hard defending it because just since it's TS, I might get a lot of heat and it might not be considered groundbreaking enough or innovative, but I am damn sure I could have a very solid argument.Taylor has the artistry, passion, and a respect for music that cannot be denied.

Oh and Taylor won another award today. She got another BMI Songwriters' Award for Red being in the top 50 performed Country songs for the year. Slay a bit, Taylor.

My money's on an alternative/indie pop inspired route à la Lorde, Bastille, Sky etc but maybe that's just wishful thinking. She does seem to stan for a lot of that kind of music though.

The best part is that our talented Taylor Swift makes nearly all her collaborators better, Jack Antonoff described it very well, Dan Wilson soooo loves working with Taylor, The Guardian believe that Taylor makes MM collaborations much better. Taylor's creativity is undeniable

That would be awesome, I could definitely see that happening. The verses of I Know Places are kinda leaning towards that direction.
I'd love if she put out a folk album, similar to Safe & Sound. Her voice fits that stuff perfectly.
