I love Eli Roth, so I think this will be good. But if you really know the plot of
It
, these movies really are not similar at all.
Also, if we're being honest.
It
(in novel form) is probably much scarier than that movie, which has not aged well at all.

No clown movie will ever be as ****ing terrifying as IT. Especially not when I watched IT when I was 7.

IT has become too much of a classic for it to get surpassed, especially by a movie with such a weak, predictable storyline. Pennywise will be the golden standard of clown horror for years to come.
