You can't transfer all of the stats from your old account to your new one, but when you make a new account you can reinstall the scrobbler program onto your computer and when you go to set it back up it'll offer to import all your play stats from whichever music program you use (itunes, wmp, etc). Chances are those stats will be more or less the same as your old last.fm account anyway unless you've changed computers recently or started using a different music player.

There are scripts available that will allow you to apply your last.fm plays to tracks on your iTunes. You could do this and then transfer your iTunes plays to your new last.fm account. However, you need to have the song on iTunes for it to work. If you don't have the song on iTunes then it will just show up null.
