He was pointless in season 3 and it made me realize his worth in all the seasons
He's pretty bad in season 3/4 but I think it's because of the character and script he has been given to work with. his acting was on point in the first two seasons IMO and is improving this season as the character is developing

And that was his fault how? Blame Ryan Murphy, it was a thankless role and no one could've done much with it. He was great in Season 2 and he's great so far this season.
