"I Know You Won't" is like the pinnacle of Kelly taking a song and making it better. The vocals, the emotion. Her version is flawless.

Carrie's version has always felt so... empty? Lack of vocal emotion with a slight layer of auto-tune throughout.

Not when she ruined I Know You Won't, I refuse.

You've probably listened to the song too much to hear it, but it's definitely there. Especially in the verses. Very subtle, but laid out to perfect the vocals. Pretty much the same way that there was a hint of auto-tune on most of Kelly's "All I Ever Wanted" album.
