They honestly think that affirmative action is somehow minimizing white existence in the job market to a point that we're a minority? Get real. Affirmative action is basically the one thing fighting for equal opportunity among whites v blacks v other minorities.

We're seeing white presence in the job market decrease because other races are finally being given a shot. The whites left without the job are now the ones getting to realize what it feels like to be "cheated" a job no matter how qualified you are or aren't. Yes, there are instances that a minority wasn't as qualified as you and the only reason they got it was because they were part of a minority but that doesn't mean they weren't qualified at all... And you have to face the fact they there is a HUGE gap in opportunity especially in the job market. These minority quotas exist for a reason. The minorities are oppressed and deserve these quotas at the very LEAST.

I think these people, in the back of their minds, are fighting against a black majority v white minority concept and it's absolutely ridiculous. Even the most 'extreme' pro-black group Black Panthers and their "Black Power" are only so intimidating because of their fight for power. No one, and literally I've never heard or read anyone, is saying blacks deserve to be the majority or deserve to have all the power. Literally all white people see is a threat to our privilege. They absolutely cannot see the group for what it really is. The whole issue of racism really boils down to EQUAL OPPORTUNITY. To education, to jobs and thus to power.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY is about minorities especially POC having the chance to gain influence and power on society. Not take it, not force themselves on everyone.... no. That's what white people have done.
