Police are searching for a 22-year-old Philadelphia woman whose abduction was caught on surveillance video Sunday night.
Carlesha Freeland-Gaither was walking in Germantown, Pa., at around 9:40 p.m. when a man grabbed her at a street corner and pushed her down the block into his dark four-door sedan, police said.
"I heard a whole bunch of screaming," witness John Wayne told NBC 10. "She was screaming, 'help, help!'"
The video shows a car, possibly a gray Ford Taurus, pull up to West Coulter Street, according to police. The driver gets out, walks up the block and less than a minute later comes back, dragging a struggling Freeland-Gaither. At one point, Freeland-Gaither falls to the ground to resist the man, who then throws her into the backseat.
Freeland-Gaither kicked out the rear driver and passenger side windows before the car sped away, police said.
so you mean to tell me that car that pulled up behind didn't notice anything suspect and just reversed instead of calling the cops???
Stupid. That driver obviously had no brain to report it. They should've pursued the kidnapper instead of just chickening out and leaving the poor victim to get abducted.

I have a feeling he/she DID notice something, and that is exactly why they reversed. Some people just don't wanna get involved smh. Disgusting. They should be brought to justice, too.

You hear of people trying to help ending up shot/dead. I would have been too scared to help. America is a mess cos every piece of trash on the streets can get access to a gun.

Excuse me, I'd call 911 immediately and recorded the car's plate number but NOT get involved. Do I want to suffer as well? No! What if he had a gun? I don't want to risk my life, these people are nuts and very dangerous
