this is v true. kind of unlikely in the business now for someone (especially someone so renowned for their songwriting) to so explicitly label their album as just 'pop', and not as some 'spiritual journey' or some other rubbish. i really applaud that decision

It was kind of ridiculous that Red was nominated for Best Country Album, it didn't stand a chance. It was a tough album to place though, since it had some country, some pop, some singer/songwriter, etc.

I'm glad she's so honest about what's Pop and what isn't though, so people can't pull the whole "She thinks she's country!111!!" thing anymore.
