I see a lot of Pokémon fans on this website and I always think, isn't that a bit juvenile? Like late teenagers and older adult men (e.g. Bloo) are still playing those games. Shouldn't there come a time that you leave that behind and just remember the nostalgia of it? I personally feel it's a bit childish and the games - and anime - have been in serious decline for years. Why do you still like it? Discuss.
No, it's not. It's a series of games that bring great joy to people of all ages. I've been playing since I was 7 or 8, and I'm almost 22, and have already pre-ordered Omega Ruby.
I think it's okay to play, it's just when they start doing stuff like competitively playing it, making fan art and making it an obsession is when it gets juvenile.
Yes. Am pretty sure that's supposed to be geared towards 8 year olds and younger, but there's 20+ year olds on here playing it. Really immature in my opinion.
