No, it's not great. Britney can do SO much better. In two weeks time she'll be off the Top 10 while Taylor and Beyonce are still there. I can understand Taylor's success (heavy promotion, teen sensation, family-friendly songs..), but Beyonce's album is atrocious but it's selling because of the promotion and multiple-singles she's releasing plus appearances. Britney needs to do something... a "comeback" is not called a comeback for nothing. It's coming back to the top (not for a week), but Mariah-style and stay there for a long time. This is a very mediocre performance on the charts and she seriously needs to get her ass out there and show them who's boss. This is not what were going to look back and call a comeback 10 years from now. Her fans shouldn't settle for less (because I know some of you will come up with a bunch of excuses to satisfy yourself with her current success). Taylor Swift isn't having a "comeback" yet she is doing far better than Queen of Pop Britney Spears.

I know what I'm ****ing talking about. I know she's doing better than them WW (like I said, where it matters). But she's not going to get any "comeback" respect unless she sells amazingly. I imagined a huge Grammy-contender and love with this album, and I actually think it is - but with Kelly and other huge releases this year she WILL be overshadowed unless she keeps herself in top form. If she's not going to get any credibility with this album, WHEN will she??? I know Circus is not her peak musically (she has all the life experience to create an extraordinary album), but she needs the sales right now to keep it hot... or she'll fizzle (as we've seen w/ the inconsistency of her previous albums since Britney).

Yes, I agree the "promotion" topic is tired... but it's what sells the albums. She released something... give some respect to the producers and her supporters and try and sell it. Or people will lost interest fast.

well yes, I see your point, unfortunately when it comes to media and comparisons, they don't go and look WW sales, they go just for the U.S. sales and diss on Britney...I've heard comments like those in The Soup, The View, on Fuse's No.1 Countdown....and comments go like this "Well, Taylor is ruling, followed by Beyoncé, and yes at number 3, Britney Spears with her comeback album"
