A lot of my friends are a big fan of Saw but they only started getting into the movie during film 3 and 4, and they can't even watch the first one because they said it's so different.
I am a fan from the beginning so of course I love the first film, but the film DID only get popular after Saw II, because of the whole 'traps' scenes, which got people into it. Saw I actually had a story line and was not all about 'traps'.
The original Saw was a classic though, like No one is going to see a rerelease of it in theatres when it shows for free on Cable, and is available on Netflix, and DVD.
Not some o yall acting like Saw isnt one of the most successful horror franchises. Yall act like this is a NEW film. It was a re-release of the SAME film that started the franchise. Nothing new was added it basically just for anniversary reasons. I have every saw on dvd so no im not paying 10 bucks to see it. Thats why it flopped
