I figured that was it. I was listening to the Distance and Deep River album and in awe of how much worse she sounds now, not that she's horrible or anything..but she used to undoubtedly be one of the best vocalists in the industry. Now she's good..but I can't stan for her vocals.
Hikki has never really had a good voice (live at least), but I appreciate it for what it is. I think the song is very nice, definitely Top 40 material. If this doesn't chart, then I don't know what the Asian community can do to get themselves noticed in the music industry.
I've always enjoyed BoA's typical bubblegum pop more than Utada's music, but radio will never play "Eat You Up". "Come Back to Me" screams hit.
