what if her rock album is the most flawless and critically acclaimed album ever
Ltes not fool ourselves, if djws is the lead producer on the next one again, it wont be neither acclaimed, neither flawless aka artpop 2 but worse
but I think Gags is a grown woman and wont let djws have more than 2 songs
Her next album will sell on par or worse than Artpop. This is almost definite, as she'll be using that to replatform her brand (hopefully) and we probably won't see a huge increase until the one after that. Hopefully with strong singles, it'll do very nicely.
For example, Bedtime Stories is one of Madonna's best albums and served as a recovery period for Erotica. It sold okay, but gave her her biggest hit in the United States, and people came back hard for Ray of Light. It's all about transitioning. Cheek to Cheek seems more about building her own credibility as an artist and for people to respect her. It seems it is working though, as it is selling.
