Sad to see the end of the Pure Heroine era.

Unfortunate in the way the timing went, as the NZ and Australian singles got way ahead of the US market and in an ideal world, the album should have come a little later.

You can't ask for much more than what she achieved already, but with better timing she might have had 3 top 10 singles and Pure Heroine would be eligible for this Grammy season, not the last one.

I'd say a 1.5M selling album with 2 top 10 hits (and 4 Hot 100 entries) is a pretty solid debut era. Especially when you think that her era has had 9 weeks at number one

Obviously that will change once the final numbers come in for 1989.

I hope she keeps including some of the Pure Heroine tracks in her shows, even when she is in her next era, although she is almost starting a new era with the Mockingjay Part 1 album, given the number of tracks she is featuring in, or co-writing.
