I was watching it last night, it's sad that around then she didn't want to make music commercially anymore though. And you can tell from the way she speaks about the industry.
The intro guitar-lead bit sounds a little dated, but the piano-lead verses, the bridge that leads into the chorus with strings and the chorus is pretty timeless IMO. It worked so well on TFM too, whereas Dope doesn't really fit on ARTPOP, especially after the messiness of MJH even if it does follow thematically.

I recognize that, hence I said thematically going high-to-low might work, but it just kills the album before two pretty great songs come in after which is sorta weird to me. Speechless fits perfectly between Monster and DITD, both in tempo and theme.

And when she teases Act II
I kii so hard when she says "ARTPOP" after every paragraph like fffff.

Gaga has yet to deliver a decent original ballad, so I'm a little hesitant on a full AC album tbh. If she's going that route, she needs to incorporate electro/R&B somehow so it doesn't sound tired and dated.
Something between SHICD and Speechless would be best.
Rusty I'd love that as a Vegas residency for a month or so And they could write a couple original songs, record a few of the duets in studio and release an EP/DVD combo of the show.
But that's an amazing idea, so it'll never happen.

Now there's an understatement. Mid-tempos are Gaga's shizz. Give me an epic TEOG-level track to open and close the album too and we have LG5.
