One thing for sure, I like not having an idea of how the entire album is going to sound.

Oh Nas, I didn't say they weren't stories...I mean a newcomer could do this. That's the point.
There's a story and storytelling (painting a picture, schoolin the game, doing something that any rapper couldn't just do).
Ex. Song cry isn't something anyone can do. Anaconda is something a new comer could do.
As a matter of fact, this would have been a great mixtape track during her early days...just saying.
