I think she will get mechanical royalties of $0.091/2 for Clean. So 4.55 cents. This is for every copy of 1989 sold digitally in the US, plus every CD pressed (not even sold). So for every million copies in the US Imogen should get $45k. She probably will get more from being the Producer too. Rates vary for overseas sales but I can see this album shifting 6 million WW and so Imogen would probably get >$250k just from mechanical royalties for being the co-writer.
If Clean is a single obviously she would get mechanical royalites for each copy of Clean (the single) sold too. That would be about $45k for every Platinum Cert in the US.
Then she would get performance royalties every time the track is played on the radio/tv/streamed.
Plus having her track on Taylor's album will lead to many of Taylor's fans buying Imogen's back catalogue, which will obviously boost her money from this collaboration.
Not bad for a few days of work, but then Imogen has worked hard to become a technical expert at what she does. Without this then Taylor would not have chosen to work with her. The fact that Imogen and Taylor can put together a wonderful song so quickly is just testament to their talent really.
