Only if you're poor though. Newark and Paterson are the pits but I live around Jersey City/Hoboken and it's pretty cool. We have some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline out here in Hudson County. Plus we have a 24/7 trains and tunnels that go directly into Manhattan unlike Staten/Long Long Island
Places like Newark, Camden, Paterson, Irvington, and the likes only make up like 2% of the states population though so...
Shout out to Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and many more
Newark and Paterson are 2 of the biggest/most important cities in the state sis (although they are TRASH but some parts are nice)
I love New Jersey we are the best state also my father moved to Missouri and recently visited and he's been gone for 3 years so when he made his return to Jersey he couldn't believe how rude people are here compared to Missouri
I live here (near the beach) and the worst cities/towns, in terms of crime and ugliness, are the ones near NYC and Philly, but everywhere else is pretty much nice. Where I live is my favorite place in the world.
Anywhere along the east coast, from Sandy Hook down to Cape May, is beautiful.
