Through out this whole thread I still haven't discovered why her success story should be regarded as interesting and inspiring. Out of most of the major pop girls her story lacks the spark that generated interest for the other's stories.
Rihanna was lucky. She was pretty. And could hold a note. Did she spend her childhood trying to hone her craft? Was she signed to multiple labels, dropped from labels? Do extensive vocal training? Talent shows? Demo records? Mixtapes? Dance classes? Did her family have to sacrifice for her? Did she have to sacrifice?
Or was she just poor and made it big? Because that what it seems like to me. Her story is unexceptional. But that's just IMO.
Nobody knows really where she come from, I mean she doesn't even say it in her songs or talk about it that much. SInce she started she's always been sucessful.
