I don't get it, Hallowe'en isn't under police jurisdiction and how would this help them catch him? this makes no sense.

What?

If you were an adult, would you want your child walking around at night knowing there is murderer on the run in the same area? The Poconos has a lot of hiding spots and forest areas. It's the perfect place for someone on the run to hide.

He shot a state trooper... what does that have to do with kids and Hallowe'en? You think he's gonna stalk the streets murdering children for their candy? Logic.

What in the world?

You think he wouldn't shoot another person? Or hold a family captive and take all of their stuff? A murderer is on the run in your area and you'd let your children walk around at night?

That's just nonsense and vapid panicking. There are murders in just about every single city. Do they all cancel Hallowe'en because there's a murderer somewhere in the city?

You think this guy has some beef with 10-year-old trick-r-treaters? Laughable. He shot those cops because he obviously has some problem with their authority. He's not going to go and murk little trick-r-treaters, murder families and steal all their candy. Absurd.

it would've been easier for him to move around that night. He'd put on a costume and get to move about undetected. He was looking for places to hide, could've easily knocked on a door, you open it and he shows a weapon, forcing himself inside your house to hide or gather up food/ other things he may need to survive longer out in the woods.

So what, he could do that anyways. Chicago has had at least 334 murders so far this year. Did they cancel Hallowe'en because there are a few hundred murderers in their city? Nope!

This place has ONE murder and they cancel it? Get out!
