Man this is just cruel. Public shame is never the answer. Take away her access to the internet and don't let her hangout with friends for a while but man this is just cruel.
I don't have a problem with the public shaming aspect. I think that if more people were publicly shamed for bad internet behavior that there would be less trolling, but at the same time, I think the girl's parents need to police her Internet habits more.
