That means Taylor actually sat down and repeatedly listened to PRISM while trying to pick it apart, which is seriously creepy and stalkerish. I mean if I hated someone that much I'd want nothing to do with them instead of developing an obsession.
Taylor is such an accomplished lyricist that she has every right to pick apart Katy's lyrics.
And it's not creepy in the slightest when Taylor can come up with genius lyrics in retaliation.
sfdfdgdfss What a reach. The song is just plain bad, not some kind of elaborate backwards shade. Move on.
How is it a reach? I logically explained everything in the OP, which you probably did not read.
The style of writing on Bad Blood simply does not fit on 1989 or any of Taylor's past works. You can think what you want about the quality of her writing, but what I've explained is a fact.
- the beat is dark horse/roar
- the lyrics are crazy generic, she usually gives some details of places, times, while the lyrics of this song are so generic and bland...
Not that all Katy's songs are generic but the ones written by Dr. Luke are
Damn that OP!
I didn't think about it containing excerpts from PRISM so now that you point it out it could be a Katy mockery. My mind is slightly blown lol
The lyrics are very general and not at all specific, something completely uncharacteristic of Taylor's writing. Even Shake it Off contained references specific to Taylor's life.

Taylor certainly never loses!
You just missed the entire point of my post. No one is going to sit down and analyze an enemy's songs in and out unless they had some sort of obsession.
I'm still waiting for an explanation as to why Taylor completely abandoned the lyrical tools she frequently uses and picked up the ones Katy Perry does on a track about Katy Perry. Totally a coincidence, right? What a reach
I know you're not the brightest bulb, but you just missed the entire point of my post. No one is going to sit down and analyze an enemy's songs in and out unless they had some sort of obsession. Read it slowly, okay?
Roar went #1 and it doesn't take anything more than one listen to realize how absolutely cliché the lyrics are. Not saying I agree with the idea that it's a parody, but this doesn't really hold up. The lack of analysis-worthy material is what makes the lyrics so bad.

The Kats their logic and arguments drifting away like plastic bags.
