But it's a fact that these 3rd world countries that are getting paid mere cents for their hard labor are in fact better off then they were before these corporations began manufacturing within their borders. It's the harsh reality of life and it sucks, but still it's better than nothing.
Think about this, if those 8 year old kids weren't working for that money to be able to support their family with food and shelter, they'd be farming or hunting for whatever little food they could find and it will maybe last them the day. Every civilization went through it before they eventually moved up and began educating themselves and bettering their way of life.

Yes, factory conditions can be deplorable (though not all of them), but at least these people are making a wage and improving life for their family, instead of scavenging for berries or roasting in the plantations.
