it's not a bandwagon by a long shot. Not even close.
It's just an opinion some of us have which you apparently don't.
I hope her next album will be more mature than DEMI, or else I'll have a hard time stanning for her music. I'd still love her as a person, but it'd mean her music isn't for me anymore. It's that simple.

!!!!!
I can't Stan for a girl that keeps songs like Two Pieces or Nightingale as album tracks but release MITUSA, RDC and Neon Lights as SINGLES
She can have both success and mature singles cuz she has already seen it with GYHAB.

Bubblegum pop or maturity isn't really the problem. It's the fact that she's belting in all sorts of places that don't fit in. She needs to make music that is at par with her talent, her vocals and her edginess.. Pop Rock is the way to go.

I fail to see how MITUSA is that much more immature than GYHAB.......

MITUSA is pure pop with try hard - messy vocals while GYHAB is a Dance-pop ballad with an outstanding vocal performance, and it also has a proper bridge unlike the other !

But that doesn't have anything to do with how mature a song is. Essentially both are love songs with teen kinda lyrics.

The lyrics...
MADE IN THE USA
Our love runs deep like a chevy
If you fall I'll fall with you baby
Cause that's the way we like to do it
That's the way we like
You run around open doors like a gentleman
Tell me girl every day you're my everything
Cause that's the way you like to do it
That's the way you like
No matter how far we go, I want the whole world to know
I want you bad, and I wont have it any other way
No matter what the people say,
I know that we'll never break
Cause our love was made, made in the USA
Made in the USA, yeah
You always reading my mind like a letter
When I'm cold, you're there like a sweater
Cause that's the way we like to do it
That's the way we like |
GIVE YOUR HEART A BREAK
The day I first met you
You told me you'd never fall in love
But now that I get you
I know fear is what it really was
Now here we are,
So close yet so far.
Haven't I passed the test?
When will you realize,
Baby, I'm not like the rest
Don't wanna break your heart
Wanna give your heart a break
I know you're scared it's wrong
Like you might make a mistake
There's just one life to live
And there's no time to wait, to waste
So let me give your heart a break, your heart a break
Let me give your heart a break, your heart a break
Oh yeah, yeah
On Sunday you went home alone
There were tears in your eyes
I called your cell phone, my love
But you did not reply |

Again, i fail to see how that's immature? They're bad lyrics yeah, bad =/= immature.
RDC and STWN are songs that are immature, both thematically and lyrically. MITUSA and GYHAB are the same to me.

Haha! I don't know many people who enjoy that song too much. I almost always skip it.
Adding onto what another person said, I hope there's less belting on her next album.. at least not on every single chorus like DEMI. Why can't she just sing pretty, for example: the parts of Catch Me and Don't Forget she sings on tour

The DEMI hate To me Unbroken is a lot more generic and her worst album to date, DEMI is solid and has many highlights. However, I really want to see something like Here We Go Again, that's her magnum opus and it's the album that best showcases her talent as a vocalist and songwriter. Catch Me, Every Time You Lie, World Of Chances >>>>>>>>
