I never go for too long rides...If I do then I used to use my old mp3 player...Now I need a new one but still, you can always get an extra battery for the phone so it will last longer.
Beside, in the price of an iPod I can get more then one extra battery to my cell...
LOL not me, the iPhone's battery is not removable/chargeable itself.
I didn't know you had a separate MP3 player. That would solve the problem.
Eli, you should really get this http://www.testfreaks.com/blog/revie...ack-iphone-3g/ ... it's really good. If I'm on a long ride and I don't have my laptop to plug my phone into or my car charger, then I use this and it's really good. That's why I use my phone to listen to my music.

YES. I have a 2005 iMac (I got it just before the Intel/camera version came out ) but I just ordered a new MacBook 2.4. I ordered it with an airplane charger that goes into the headphone jack so I think I can actually charge my phone through my laptop which will be charged by the plane. Cool.
Well.. I think the charger is basically the same.. like I lost the iPod charger that came with my iPhone so now I use my brothers nano chromatic one or my dad's ipod classic charger... they basically all fit. Next time you stop by an apple store you should ask lol.. well actually I might get a new case tomorrow from one of the ones near me and I'll read the package haha

Of course, I had a stupid moment. I know they all fit. I don't even use the dock I just plug it in at both ends. Either way I think the airplane charger'll be enough.
