The production sounds like a slower version of Don't Hold Your Breath by Nicole Scherzinger. It sounds great though, I can see this blowing up cause it sounds like a radio smash.
One sad thing about this success is the fact that the next album will be completely filled with pop songs and this R&B sound that they are pushing with this album will not be appreciated by Epic.
When I first heard BO$$, I thought it was Camila who was chanting the chorus, but it turned out to be Normani. Their recorded vocals tend to sound the same at rare but crucial times.
Now that I've heard the song in high quality, i can therefore conclude that the Sledgehammer chorus is actually a mix of Camila and Normani's vocals as you can hear he latter's diction a bit.
Oh by the way, Sledgehammer reminds me of the sparkly, shiny feeling I had when they performed their version of Anything Could Happen on X Factor two years ago.
