Snubbed Phil Collins: "Adele's a slippery little fish"
Seems Phil Collins is not happy with Adele after she failed to get back to him about a possible collab on her new album.

Speaking to Q magazine, he explained: 'She's a slippery little fish is Adele.
'She got hold of me and asked if I would write with her. She gave me a piece of music to finish and at first I didn't know if I'd failed the audition as I didn't hear back from her.'
When he finally got in touch with the 26-year-old mother of one, she blamed her lack of contact on her hectic personal life.
I think its normal for artists to fish around for suggestions but then not use them as they dont really suit. She's obviously a big fan of his or she wouldn't have reached out in the first place. Maybe she felt bad turning his offerings down and couldn't face telling him. She's very non confrontational.
This happens all the time. People are supposed to go in knowing that when working on an album. Just because you're asked to be a part of it doesn't mean you'll make the final cut.
I doubt she's ****ing around with this album. if he wasn't up to par, then good on her for not working with him just because he's a legend.
She could have handled it better but she's probably way too nice to tell someone she didn't like the work they did.
edit: And I doubt Phil said this in a serious matter. There was another interview he did and said she was very kind and a lovely woman and he just assumed she didn't like the work he did. He didn't actually care that much.

What's the problem here? Adele is like the biggest star in the world...Phil should be grateful Queen even asked him, tbh. This isn't the 80's anymore, Phil.
Maybe Adele not familiar about him because of generational gap?
She approached him, but she either wasn't feeling the stuff they did and was too nice to tell him that or she didn't want to attach too many people to the album.
As of what we know, she's working with most of the people she worked with on 21 and has worked with a couple of new people as well. Her albums are never that long so it's not like she needs a team of 50 co-writers and producers.
Some of y'all better read the entire thing before trying to drag Adele. Anyway i am sure she knows what she is doing and maybe this just wasnt what she was expecting.
