To each its own.......BUT I :heart: This GAME!

Looks great, but the graphics are the same as in Sims 2. I expected much more.

i think they look pretty different, yet samey (to everything else in Sims 3). Kind of like how all the sims in Sims 2 sort of looked the same.

and it might have something to do with how much bigger this game will be now that you can go out and about off the original lot.

That's what I think. I said on page 1 that I don't think the graphics are as good. They probably aren't, to keep the game under a certain size. Well, let me refine that--the sims themselves don't look as realistic, but the houses/landscapes look nicer.

That will make a HUGE difference. And I'd love to drive their cars too.

I know this will never happen but it would be so interesting if you could go to school/work with them. The game would be ridiculously huge.

yeah, but going through work might not be super entertaining. what im really interested in as well is the seemingly (from the video) unprecedented customizability of houses and even everyday items, as well as the sims themselves (fat sims? finally!). im also interested in the increased importance on social interaction this one seems to heading towards.

I didn't notice much of a difference in how you can customize your house. I saw how you can change the pattern/color of every piece of furniture, is it anything beyond that?

I completely agree with you on the sims! I've always been annoyed with how there were only three body types, and you couldn't choose the height or anything. You can choose height now... right? If not, customizing the body size should suffice. lol.

One other thing I'd like to have is an in-game hair creator. Being able to customize the length, style and color of the hair without resorting to custom content would be much appreciated.

yes, a hair creator would be great. i always end up picking only a couple pre-made hair styles anyways because i usually cant stand the look of half the other ones. they really need more syles for children and teens too.
