Not really. Both the Trump kids and Spelling kids are known for being the scions of famous, wildly successful patriarchs. Just like Ivanka, Tori’s been famous because of her last name for most of her life. Unlike the Trump kids, the Spellings actually grew up in a two parent home, but unlike the Spellings, the Trump kids were always taught the value of education and weren’t going to inherit any money unless they finished college, which is why all of Donald’s children over the age of 23 have at least one bachelor’s degree, and those degrees are from places like Wharton and Georgetown. I even think all of Ivana’s children have graduate degrees and/or certificates in business related fields. So, they all know how to balance bank books and project budgets. The Trump kids dabble in the cult of personality with reality TV and using their names and faces to hawk different merchandise, but those are side gigs. For Tori, reality TV is her bread and butter, and her brother is an even less lucrative commodity on the reality TV show circuit, which is why he’s now a “life coach.”
Donald taught his kids the in’s and out’s of a lucrative business that wasn’t dependent upon their looks. Meanwhile, Aaron got his kids acting jobs on his shows, and we all know how fickle the acting/celebrity profession is, especially for those who aren’t particularly attractive or handsome. There are all sorts of behind the scenes skills involved in being a producer and a show runner. Aaron got into the business as a writer. I don’t think Aaron imparted those skills upon his kids in the same way that Donald or even Francis Ford Coppola did with his children.
