But making comments out loud is awful, it just makes people feel awkward.

I came in thinking most of the harassment was gonna say "ay yo bitch gimme your number!" or something along those lines. This seems pretty tame. She was getting complimented by most. How does the next guy know she's been getting comments all day?

It's NOT okay. Getting looked at as a sexual object by creepy men is horrible. Why is it okay to make comments in the first place, kid.

Those are okay, and that's how you simply start a conversation. Some of that stuff was just so uncomfortable, especially the two guys who kept walking with her.

Mess at the comments. People saying she should've responded to them, and they would've left. Bye. She doesn't have to speak/answer/respond to your cat-calls, or attempts to flirt if she doesn't want too. That should've been the clue that she isn't interested. If someone didn't respond to me after I said something, I'd just move on. Obviously she wasn't interested.
