This series is completely devoid of any imagination or creativity. I don't care much for the game mechanics when it's the same barren wasteland and sad, cardboard cut-out personalities again and again. Gaming would be better if this series died.
What do you mean by the "lowest common denominator"?
The simplest group of a population (simple views, opinions etc). It is the kind of game that attracts the worst of people (especially on consoles). You get all the kids, the trolls and just generally annoying people that mic spam, throw flashbangs/concussion grenades are friendlies etc.
I guess since i'm in university now I wouldn't know about these things.
