I worked with Anne in the past and she was one of the sweetest people I've met. Very down to earth. If this is true, I don't blame her. I don't like shaking hands with people whether there's risk of ebola or not. You don't know where people's hands have been.
Is this for real? This guy clearly is projecting because he feels less than her. She is allowed deny a handshake if she wants.
I severely doubt she said, "You're from South America, right? English isn't your first language? Oh wow, I can't shake hands then!" He sounds like an ass.
