Basically, i mean LOUD sold that much because it was a dance electro pop album, Alicia's Element of Freedom has sold 4.5 million and is str8 up R&B, Beyonce's BEYONCE has sold 3.7 million and is R&B.
Look at Talk That Talk and Unapologetic, neither album did as good as LOUD, because she steered away from the Dance Pop that was popular at the time. No Black artists has made a Dance Pop album except Rihanna this decade which is why she benefited from releasing that type of album during that fade.
