This is really the main aspect where they are failing. Up until the last episode she treated him like trash so I don't see why he likes her.

also, can we talk about how the social justice warriors on tumblr were trying to drag mikaela for "bi-phobia" and "bi-erasure" bc of the whole situation with her down low fiance, but they were sucking connor's sick even though he is unwilling outing people and taunting women. the damn hypocrisy

Usually shows focus on characters who you think is the killer when it actually turns out to be the one they weren't focusing on. I think Shonda wants us so badly to think that Sam killed Lilah that it isn't him. It's too obvious. I think it was her blonde assistant. She's already shown to have some obsession with Sam and possibly knew about Lilah and killed her after finding out that he was sleeping with her. Or it could actually be Rebecca.

That would be interesting, especially considering I feel like her character has not yet proven to be of any actual importance to the show. The others are all tied up in plot lines and whatnot, and she's just so... extra. As of now, she has not yet contributed anything to the show to make her character necessary.
Every time she's on the screen, I'm just like... "Why does this character even exist?"
