I don't know if this is true. I've seen some lesbians from afar that look like cute guys but once I see their gender the attraction dissipates. I am attracted to men with feminine, soft features, but I can not be attracted to women with masculine features. I can not be attracted to men who exhibit femininity to a certain degree - like nail polish, make-up, etc...

Obviously attraction has nothing to do with anything though, everyone should be free to be as conforming or non-conforming to genders as they want to be.

I believe everyone is born pansexual and gender blind. Environmental and societal factors influence how they end up defining their sexuality in the long run.

As long as they're not hurting anybody I don't care what they want to identify as. People get so up in arms about the labels people want to use and it really shouldn't be a big deal because it doesn't affect your life so why should you care. If calling themselves something makes them feel better and more comfortable with themselves then so be it, I'll respect it. I'm not going to tell them to simplify their life for me.

No. If environment and society would decide about sexuality then everyone would be straight. I'm straight and I didn't define my sexuality - I was born with this one just like gay and bi people were born with theirs.

Also we are not born gender blind. Females and males have different brains (the differences can be already seen at just 26 weeks of pregnancy) and hormones which are responisble for different behaviour. Have you ever heard about David Reimer? He was a Canadian man born biologically male but raised female following medical advice and intervention after his penis was accidentally destroyed during a botched circumcision in infancy. He had sex reassignment surgeries, was given female hormones and had psychological support in the whole process - yet he still didn't identify as a woman and had undergone treatment to reverse the reassignment.

I just live and let live. the whole concept is too much for me to wrap my head around, but I am a firm believer in letting people express and define themselves however they choose to do so.
