Jay Sean's First Independent US single release staring the gorgeous Arielle Reitsma, on his own label "Kamourflage Ent", since he announced he left Cash Money Records on 24th October, i absolutely, love this, so unique and has Jay Sean written all over it. This is the kind of RNB music which is rare these days, meaningful lyrics, melodies, and quality which now is replaced with crude lines like "these hoes aint loyal" etc etc, Am soooo glad Jay has left YMCMB who were diluting his music to the point he was loosing original fans, YMCMB are known to not support their artist, other than Drake, Nicki and Wayne evident by Artist such as TYGA and LIL TWIST wanting out of their contracts, He left so he could return back to his RNB roots, The music which started it all such as his hits "Ride it" and "Maybe", Music which he wanted to make and not pop driven, smash hunting, corporate label music, which under Cash Money he was forced to release. Well Jay has absolutely smashed it out of the park with this one... I haven't heard such melodic RNB music like this in a while. Hes taking it back to the BritIsh 2005 URBAN RNB Scene. Enjoy
[QUOTE=Inverted;24756063]It's not bad. Much better than his music on YMCMB. I just don't like ad libs at the end.
it grows on you, trust, but i had the exact same thought, the end was a bit too over produced and could have been better written. but all in all i love this.. The Mistress II is going to be amazing, am just gonna say it, it should be a album not tape.

The end isn't overproduced. It just recycles the same strings again and has those awkward ad libs. He should have just not sang at all and let it end with the strings.
It sounds good, but the lyrics make him sound like a douche bag
I don't even remember her name? I shed a tear for you? I'm just a man. Half assed apology.
in this song, he cheated on his GF, and is metaphorically saying even though she now dont love him no more, he will love her for ever until someone can find his tears in the ocean which is impossible, so its imposable for him to stop loving his gf. nothing douche about it..

oh yh, i understand where your coming from. i feel around 2.17 it becomes overproduced which i personally dont love too much, other than that am not too fussy about the recycled bars at the very end.
He needs to pull a Nick Jonas asap or just go into **** tbh.
He is not going to pander to gay men like Nick Jonas is. Gay consumers only use guys who are young and white anyway...

Um... that part is obvious! You missed the parts I quoted and he sounds like a douche in those...

so he sounds like a douche because he is apologizing for cheating okay, so when chris brown calls girls hoes, countless rappers calling girls bitches, and slags etc etc there not douches, its a fictitious situation, calm down. he not talking about someone in real life whos name he forgot...smh
and i agree jay should not try to pull a nick jonas..

Um... how did Chris Brown come up here? Did you think I'm a Chris Brown stan? You sound pressed as hell and need to take your own advice and calm down.
All art is fictitious... so what? I'm commenting on the situation in the song. He's "apologizing," but it's a half assed douchey apology.
He's too old for that. He's gone shirtless in his last three videos, but they're never shot well. In this video he looks awkward in the shirtless scene and his face looks really aged in the close ups too:

i think these days he purposely trys to look older, he keeps a beard and gives off the persona of a more mature man with his facial expressions, if you see some of his very recent interviews where he is clean shaven and smiling he looks 10 years younger.

He turns 36 next March (yes, that's his real age) so it's natural that he looks more aged. It has nothing to do with the facial hair because he's had facial hair before and still looked young. He looks fine now, but he can't really pull of the sex thing.
