the op clearly knows f all about the music business. Jay sean made the label more money touring, advertising and releasing music than 70 percent of the cash money roaster. So they drop him but keep kevin rudolph, limp buisket, lil twist, euro, young thug, bow wow, paris, cory gunz etc etc. Who havnt had success in years yhhhhh sure. After nicki, drake, wayne, tyga. ,jay sean was the next making moves. a) He was not trending on Twitter last night. Jay has never trended worldwide on Twitter except when he used the Janoskians to help him. They got their fans to get Neon to trend last year by offering their fans follows the more they tweeted it.
b) Jay might make more money than most of the people on YMCMB, but that doesn't say much. He doesn't actually tour and his music was not making any money. He just had royalties, some performances at local events around the world and small endorsements.
c) Where did you get that he was signed to a 360 deal and had to give up his endorsement royalties? Where's the source for this?

He's an independent artist who has decent success.

Moreover, none of Jay's songs have sold well on iTunes in either country and he's not some popular name in either. You can check their iTunes sales rankings yourself and you won't find Jay.
