It's clear that they are spending so much more money on Season 4 than any other previous seasons. The production value is big. Episode 3 felt a bit meh, though. Definitely a drop from the first two episodes. I hope it doesn't get silly, which Episode 3 was a bit (although it had a couple of great scenes.)
The scare factor is probably the most important one for me.
It has some scary parts. But the production value is pretty great, IMO. Season 4 is a great show overall, even just as a show, without the horror part. And it does have some scary scenes. Episode 3 indicated some super scary scenes to come.
Season 3 was not scary at all. Such a waste.
For me, season 2 was the scariest, followed by season 1.

Season 3 was so boring and tiring to watch. I had really problem to finish the season. And I dont want to experience it again. Im thinking of watching The Strain instead of AHS. But I didnt make up my mind yet.

To be fair, it is scarier than Coven lol. Unlike the first two, there is no central mystery and you basically know what is going on from the get-go. I think the relationship between the clown and the young man so far is pretty creepy though. If your afraid of clowns, step right up and watch lol.

Well anything can be scarier than Coven considering that season wasnt scary at all I was really scared only during the first half of the season 1. Its a pity that the original idea of having 13 parts of real horror stepped back for the gain of television drama. If I wanted to watch talking series there are much better offers.

Watch just one episode of AHS Freakshow. I believe that you will know after the first episode whether you want to continue or not, I believe the first episode will tell you all you need to know.
