She did it nicely. It's not try hard or anything, it doesn't make me cuz i don't think artists should "drag" eachother etc. but it shows she was really hurt from whatever Katy did etc. (still not taking a side tho)

I haven't heard the song yet but the lyrics are rather weak and childish. It's like she's repeating the same thing over and over.

It's not just the lyrics though; it's how she delivers them. And she sounds pissed. One of my favorite vocal performances from Taylor on 1989

I remember it being mentioned that the song is supposed to sound like a Katy one. She's being satirical towards Katy's "vague and basic" writing style and the song seems like Taylor's most repetitive.

I was expecting a much angrier song. Musically and lyrically. I still like it.

NOPE!! And the song was never meant to in the first place. In no way does it personally place Katy as the target. When she was discussing the song with RS she said she wanted to make a song that everybody who has been betrayed by someone that they truly care about, can relate to. It's not a personal attack song that was meant to expose anybody. Its just written from a general perspective.

It seems like she's using Katy to promote her album more than anything since she got major backlash for her everlasting exes so she's moving on to something else. Same antics, different model.
