At what age did you leave the nest that is your parent'(s) and begin life on your own. What did you learn through your experience and what would you do differently? If you haven't moved out yet, when do you plan to and how will you support yourself?
Moved out at 16, got a job, my own place, a car, worked for two years and saved up money. Then moved to the other side of the country to go to University. Was a great learning experience.
Impressive. What job did you have to save up for 2 years if you don't mind me asking?
Im 19 and im pretty desperate to move out and just disconnect from them and their overbearing opinions. I can't find myself or my calling if I dont leave
I'm 19 and I'm saving up to move to NYC currently. I've lived with my family in Mississippi my whole life so I'm pretty scared to say the least. Excited though, too.
