Could you please tell me where I said Beyonce claims twerking makes her a feminist? That's what her fans claim by stating that she's a huge feminist for "owning" her sexuality and singing songs like Independent Women.

What do the rights and dignity of sex worker have to do with pop stars like Beyonce exploiting their sexuality? Are you equating Beyonce with a sex worker? Feminists wanting to protect sex workers and give them respect has nothing to do with Beyonce supposedly being some progressive feminist. I'm sure most feminists respect Beyonce as a successful and talented pop star and would defend her if people attacked her for dressing or dancing sexually, but she is not considered an actual feminist.

I didn't agree with her from the beginning but tolerated her view point because I could understand that she is a) from a different generation and b) kinda had a point from a personal perspective.

Feminism is about advocating for political change and equality between the sexes. At no point did she say Beyoncé shouldn't twerk, but that what she does is neither harmful nor productive, and I'd have to agree.
