Most of their Japanese music is genuinely great music, unlike their Korean which is kinda cheesy and predictable.

First Love was very sensual but very bright and hopeful... ironically.
I can't really imagine how dark but sensual would be accomplished but no doubt YG could do it.
hmm how was first love hopeful? bright maybe cause of the colors but the lyrics are sad.. the girls are practically stuck in the past thinking about their first love.. and regretting for splitting up... they even use the water screen in their close ups making it like they are crying... even the sound its melancholic
i always though Touch as an example of Dark and sensual... Also Hush can be considered dark and sensual...
Okay since I was away during the YG new girl group convo. Their concept is no longer like Girls Generation. YG decided that he didn't want that anymore. Their appeal will be their strong sense of individualism and female power. Their image goal is not to be chic like 2NE1 or overly flashy but to be like an everyday girl who you can hang out and talk with
