Nobody who thanks God for these types of things thinks that God is the only one responsible for making these happen. People thank God first, then people second. They thank God for working through the doctors or scientists. The doctors would not have the skill or knowledge to heal without God giving them those gifts. Nothing good or bad happens unless God allows it.
We should thank the people who actually work day and night on breakthroughs like this. Science is amazing
