Study ‘Beyonce Feminism’ and ‘Rihanna Womanism’ at University of Texas

Larry Busacca/Getty Images(AUSTIN, Texas) -- Beyonce’s band of feminism has been a source of debate recently, and now you can study how she and Rihanna are impacting the feminist movement, by taking a new course at the University of Texas at Austin.
The African & African Diaspora Studies department just announced the “Beyonce Feminism, Rihanna Womanism” course for the spring 2015 semester. The goal is to explore their careers to understand the role of feminism in pop culture.
