I find that "Kiss It" perfectly displays Dev's attitude. She has a very "if you don't like it, I don't care" type of attitude. This song is one of her best songs that includes a bit of her hip-hop and techno influences which she uses frequently. I think "Kiss It" is the best song to represent Dev.

She begins to sing the song from the bottom of her heart and builds the highest level. This song is a great mix of her ballads and uptempo songs because her voice literally cries in ballads and those songs have important messages. BL is similar to her uptempo ones too because its verses are dynamic, don't "stick" and sound free.

With You (Acoustic Version)
You should know before hand that 'With You' has two versions: the main one and this acoustic version. I chose to kick things off with the acoustic version of this song because it describes Jessica perfectly. You may be fooled by the uptempo songs she has released in the past but she is a real southern girl, with a country heart. She has a beautiful and powerful voice that shines in this type of acoustic songs. This is also a very autobiographical song for her so I believe this is the best song to represent her as an artist (music style) and as a person (lyrics).

Hilary Duff's music has consistent themes of "chasing your dreams and not letting what haters affect your outlook in life"that's why I find this song that defines best what my artist is and that is being totally relatable and sincere. The combination of her vocals, lyrics, instrumentals, song production in this song is so raw, catchy and uplifting. This song sends out an important message to everyone to never stop accomplishing your goals in life by staying true to yourself, striving hard and loving yourself in which my artist has proven all over the years in her career and personal life. I think this song best describes Cassie. The nice laid back beat & the soft/weak vocals.

It's also the main reason Ciara was crowned the queen of crunk & b, which is a nickname that still follows her to this day. I also think it perfectly represents her as an artist ; it's urban, it's easy to dance to, it has a hard knocking beat, smooth vocals and a powerful, slick choreography.
Practically it is the song, in which Ashlee Simpson was recognize, thanks to her program on MTV. I'll consider "Pieces Of Me" is essential in Simpson's career as it is her song with which you identify and then you realize immediately who sings

The song captures her whole aspect when it comes to being torn down, and standing back up and gaining the confidence that you once had.
I'd pick this song because this was pretty much her singing before she got mental poor girl.

I've chosen this song because I feel like this is the type of music Jessica wanted to create, it's Pop but with R&B influence and it manages to merge those two genres together, it also lets her show off her vocals.

Amerie - 1 Thing
For Amerie, 1 Thing was her one hit that she is remembered for; it was her biggest hit and one of the most critically acclaimed singles of the 2000s. The song showed a lot of promise: it's hooky, it has a great retro vibe that somehow feels modern at the same time; she never made the impact that she did with one thing, but continued to make great music.
Girlicous: I could definitely feel that attitude 7/10
prezli: I was waiting to hear that "crying" voice, it's a nice song though 7.5/10
Pedro: OMG I remember this song cause of the "ah ah's", I forgot how much I loved it. Her voice sounds amazing 9/10
Yvess: Your explanation and the song go hand in hand, great choice+ love the song 8.5/10
Nasty Nas: This is a bop, I can picture myself listening to this in my car with the windows down 8/10
Truthteller: An undeniable bop. My body automatically starts to move with this song 10/10
Strangergab: It's a good song but your explanation lacked a clear picture of who Ashlee is 7.5/10
BeyonceHatesMe: Great song, very hard song to listen to if you're going through something 9/10
SkullGirl: Again, the lack of explanation doesn't allow me to really judge this like I'm supposed to. It's a goof song tho 7/10
QatariMonster: I can really hear her love in this, the chorus is amazing 8.5/10
SIM: I kept forgetting that I was listening to Paris and not Britney, so not sure if this was the right choice 6.5/10
Musickid203: I can see his fans mean a lot to him but is that all Austin is about? 7.5/10
EuphorianSea: Her vocals are and that heartbreak in her voice can be heard throughout 8.5/10
Bey_Rihstan: In this game you're trying to introduce your artist as if we've never heard of them before, so you can't assume that we know what she's known for. The song is alright, seems like a grower 7/10
JustLuke: This is a bop it merges both pop and R&B perfectly and her vocals are insane 10/10
Jessie Mulay: This song made me feel really happy and calm just like you described 8.5/10
hello_world: I'm not really familiar with this type of music therefore I'm gonna judge based on your explanation 7.5/10
Bloomers: I never knew who sang this! I can hear that "retro vibe" throughout the song, very catchy 9/10
Speezy
Girlicious- [7] At first I did not like the song until Sage came in. (Still trying to grasp a feel for it). She displayed the attitude you described in the song though
Prezli-[9] I was just waiting for the first minute for the bass to drop and turn into a heavy instrumental song that I would jam to, that happened later in the song around the 2:27 mark. The piano's was soothing and her lyrics were clear also on the other hand.
Pedro-[10] slay me. A memorable song from my childhood. I agree with your explanation as well
Yvess-[7] This songs reminds me greatly of Evanescence "Bring Me Back to life".
Nasty Nas-[6.5] did you just drag her in your explanation. The song is very laid back and smooth though(got kind of boring towards the end)
Truthteller-[10] No lies spotted. Ciara is known for her remarkable dancing. THE BRIDGE THO
Strangergab-[7.5] Died at the intro But its a classic and so is she
BeyonceHatesMe-[9] Demi is a strong person!! (my fave did some bg vocals in this)
Skull Girl ♥-[6] Not feeling this song. It sounds like she didnt want to record this. Her last memories
Qatari Monster-[7.5] Yes she is really desperate. Did not like that bridge
SIMon1120-[6] Britney Spears tease. Nailed the explanation much better than Kim Kardashian's song
Musickid203-[8] Nice R&B song.I guess all he need is fans
EuphorianSea-[8.5] You bringing it back reminds me of a Cheetah Girl song too
Bey_Rihstan-[8] Soothing and boring and catchy at the same time. But hats off to her for taking this song and putting ha spin on it!
JustLuke-[9] Ha powervocals! Wasnt too fond of the bridge before her vocal blow
Jessie Mulay-[9] Nice catchy song anyone can grove to
hello_world-[5.5] nnnnnnn the beat and her vocals are not for me. I died of laughter around 1:40
Bloomers-[8.5] It is catchy but in the chorus the"Its just 1 thing" w annoyed the hell out of me
Nnmmo
Girlicious – 7
Cute. I can actually see myself jamming to it.
Prezli – 7.5
Great song. I love her voice.
Pedro – 6.5
I really don’t imagine Jessica being like that It sounds like a mixture of Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears.
Yvesss – 9
Exactly what comes to my mind when I think about Hilary. Great song to represent her.
Nasty Nas – 9
Yaass. I KNEW you would send this song. It is such a jam. This is exactly what Cassie’s style in music and looks is. Amazing song for tis round.
Truth Teller – 8.5
Wait. Hold up. I haven’t heard this song in like … a decade. I remember me being a little kid and my sisters JAMMING to this. Amazing song to represent Ciara.
Strangergab – 6
Cute, but I guess there’s a better song to represent her.¨
BeyonceHatesMe – 7
Definitely one of her best songs, but for me Demi is someone who gets up after being down and makes the best out of the situation. Maybe ‘Really Don’t Care’ would have been better. I’ll give you an extra point tho, just because ‘Skyscraper’ is one of her best songs ever.
Skull Girl – 6
‘Before she got mental’ … now SIS. But I really wouldn’t have known that it is her singing.
Qatari Monster – 5
Please don’t have a meltdown
I was hoping for her X-Factor audition I was never able to get into this song, because her voice in the chorus sounds so ugly, even tho her voice is actually beautiful. There are other songs that represent her better e.g. her X-Factor audition.
SIMon1120 – 6
It’s not really hard to represent Paris with her music. This song is exactly what I imagine Paris would do. But the song is tragic
Musickid203 – 7
Cute. Probably the first song of him that I like.
EuphorianSea – 6.5
I hope she has some up-tempo songs too.
Bey_Rihstan – 7
Cute. I like the song. Looking forward to see more of her.
JustLuke – 7.5
Great vocals. Looking forward to see more of her.
Jessie Mulay – 5
This song is a cute little bop but it’s not strong enough to represent him or his career. It’s like saying ‘Pound The Alarm’ represents Nicki.
Hello_world – 8
The description fits perfectly with the song. She’s very interesting. Definitely looking forward to see more of her.
Bloomers – 9
I heard this song SO OFTEN, and I ALWAYS thought it was Beyoncé. But the song SLAYS. It’s very remeberable. Can’t wait to see more
