Understood, but these days you should still promote. Unless you are Beyonce, you can't just put something out there and watch it sell. She needs to go on shows and talk about why she re released, why these songs are better than the first, why she cut some songs, perform Beg For It.
Look at Beyonce's I Am Re-Released, she had performances and interviews to support it everytime. It's just the proper way to do it.
