Maybe the label stated that she was unavailable when it was false?

Maybe the publication made a offer that was to low for the label to approve ...

Either way shes being more appreciative more than anything and there is nothing wrong with that.

Rather they are proud and grateful.

Many editorial decisions, budget/scheduling/deadlines/theme among them, go into what will and will not make the cover or be used within the magazine.
