I don't think she'll ever get to be as successful as she was back in 2009. You never know though.
She could! I think she needs better promotion and more hype which she will definitely get with Maverick. If they signed her is because they wanna make her a big star, they're no playing.

Lily said her album was more commercial because people were losing jobs at her label and they were pressing more for commercial albums.
Even Coldplay's album was more generic than normal. It's definitely Parlophone pushing her for that sound.
I'm sure she like the music she made, but I don't think her intentions were to make a more commercial record.
Before the era started she said she was writing serious music, and I remember saying she didn't want to rhyme "maybe with baby" (aka make predictable music) but who knows.

I really liked Sheezus though despite it not being as good as her last album. I hope her next era brings her best, though. The long wait has to compensate for something good.

Maverick is a new label/management company that was created by the 9 biggest people in the music industry. Basically, the people who bring us the biggest acts in the world. So it's literally the new owner of the industry. This is HUGE for her.

I don't see how getting a VEVO channel would help at all. Also, I feel like when she worked with other people that's where it went wrong (- Sheezus (song)).
The only thing that was forced upon her was putting SOWK on the album and they forced her to go write a song with Benny (Air Balloon). Apart from that she could do what she wanted on Sheezus.
I hope she does have more control that before though. It breaks my heart ehen she refers to her albums as business ventures. The promo for Sheezus was abysmal. Her label and team need to get it together.
