Because GoT doesn't pander to the Tumblr crowd like AHS has been doing since Coven.
There are many other reasons, namely ASOIAF's rich and complex source material to draw from, production values, but that alone would put many shows to shame.
Because GOT is one of those evil series that kills off your fav characters and you think you're done with it, but there is something about the show that haunts you and doesn't let you go.
BB is my fav show of all time although filled with obvious cliches about your fav character who just lives and kicks arses. GOT is the opposite of that but still my close second fav.
mess at this entire thread. GOT is cliched, sexist crap that has to rely on shock value and plot twist to keep the watchers intrested and Emilia Clarke's **** to keep them distracted from her terrible acting. it is entertaining when you skip over Jon Snow's and Blandenarys parts, but trash compared to the book. oh, and it's run by two teenage boys in a mans body. AHS season 2 was great, season 3 was a mess. haven't seen season 1. that makes them pretty much on the same level.
