A Mosque in the German town of Bad Salzuflen was set on fire on Saturday.
The mosque was found on the entrance floor of a building, out of which the fire department has reportedly saved nine people. Three of the rescued were children, the sources said.
Suspected arson attacks on mosques attended by Turks in Germany raises concerns about a rise in Islamophobia and racism.
In Germany alone 81 attacks targeting mosques have been carried out since 2012.
Many mosques were targeted since 2012 and you never hear about it in western media. If the place of practice was different, you'd be hearing about it every day.
Just to clarify, I was posting this for reference so people would know who Monique is. I didn't mean it in a celebratory way. Like I said in my previous post, this is tragic and I'm glad no one was injured.
uhm that happens in many countries just like the UK, its just not a big of a topic in media, just like the daily attacks on christians and churches in middle eastern countries dont get pointed out all day in media.
the numbers in the US are probably way higher...so it's just dull to blame the europeans and their behaviour when the situation in your ow country is probably even worse so.
This is disgusting and puts people into danger, so a big no.
However, one question bothers me: Why is it ok to have Islamic buildings in the western Europe but Christians can't have their churches in the Middle East?
